Get directionsThe staff in this Nursing home are knowledgeable and supportive. Keith, Pia, and Demi have all answered my questions about my mothers needs, were flexible when it came to her ALTCS application timeline, and even offered their own phone so that I may FaceTime my mom instead of just a phone call. The staff is all ages which I find a plus. The rooms could definitely benefit from more ventilation, ac and privacy options. While I agree about being outside in 100% heat is not good, it is Phoenix folks and they need nature/fresh ai... read more

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear about your positive experience at Maryland Gardens Post Acute.
Great choice to assist with any behavioral patient needs for both postacute and long-term care.
This is not a clinic or a medical rehab. This is an assisted living facility. It is for people that need more help than just memory care homes. My spouse has been here for seven years my spouse has to be on antipsychotic drugs due to the type of dementia he has, he can become violent. They keep a close eye on him. They always know where he is. He is free to roam as much as he wants except at night. And this place is immaculately clean.
On Thanksgiving 2018 we said goodbye to this beautiful place, as we said goodbye to our dearly loved and missed father Michael G Moore ... If there was ever TRUE angels that walk this earth not for greed or ego but for the love of others, THIS PLACE HOLDS THEM ALL !!!! they are amaxzing, n for a small centre GIVE THE TRUE CARE a terminal or elder with issues needs, they feel like the families do and hurt as much when one must leave this earth THESE ARE THE TRUE MEDICS OF THE WORLD , n not enough good is said about the little... read more
If I could give this place zero stars, that's what I would give them. My mom went there totally ambulatory and she could use the bathroom on her own. Within a year they had her in a wheelchair, unable to stand and in diapers. The residents are all in wheelchairs and typically sitting outside in flannel pants in 100° weather. Most of the staff is rude and if you have to deal with the Executive Director, Keith, be very aware that he is retaliatory. If you leave a message that Keith doesn't like he will retaliate. My mother w... read more
I visit a relative living there, it's horrific, none of these photos bear any resemblance to what I've seen, shabby and dirty rooms, dirty sheets and rude staff. Residents seem drugged, just sitting there like zombies. There are better places, many.
Do not put your loved one here. They are the worst and the place is filthy. My husband almost died there & he did die because of them.. He slept from one afternoon to the next afternoon, when we asked when do they do something about it they told us when they sleep for two days. Welll they put his meds in his mouth anyway while he was asleep. We all went to see him on a Sunday and none of us could wake him up. We called the ambulance and his oxygen level was at 82 %.. The first responders said its good we called becau... read more
Run. Terrible. Thus place should be closed. The physical therapist was good. The nurses aren't watching meds. Or taking you to the bathroom when you call.
Horrific place. Terribly rude, unqualified and inconsiderate staff with no professionalism. They say they are understaffed when you ask about the lack of care for their patients. Avoid this place at all costs
