Nice rooms, great PT facility, and staff. My only complaint is that the food really sucks. You can bring food to the patients, but you can't beat their PT staff and gyms; yes, there are two large gyms. My mother had hip surgery, and when it is time to get the other hip done, she plans to return to Tice Valley. The food situation makes it a great place to lose weight.
Im very grateful for all the wonderful care, warmth and competence the staff, i have benefited so much. I was not able to walk when I came here and with the help of physical therapy, I can now walk without a walker or cane. Its very easy to feel discouraged being in this kind of position but with the help and attitude of staff I have felt surrounded by good will and kindness. I've experienced nothing but friendly and kind staff. All nurses, physical therapy, and occupational therapy have been amazing and are very hard working people. Always have being very helpful for all my needs. I feel the genuine care that all staff shows me.
The staff here is absolutely wonderful! I have no complaints about any of them. They were so good, I wished I could bring some of them home with me. The bad: the policies and practices here are awful. I made meal requests to multiple people about my dietary concerns, and got absolutely no response from management. Nobody informed me about the program to made me healthy again. I was kept in the dark, and found out they planned to keep me for a month, even though the only reason I was there was to improve my legs. It ... read more
My 91 year old Mom was here for a couple months and she loved it. Nursing was very attentive and seemed to understand and enjoy my mom and her sense of humor( despite broken hip). She had a few other medical issues happen while there and staff pivoted well to help after I advocated for Mom quite a bit. Activities director was lovely and Mom enjoyed all the live entertainment..singers , musicians . PT therapists tired Very hard with my resistant Mom.

Nice clean spot. Great staff. Would recommend for any short or long term stays. Visited a friend there, staff was very attentive.

Tice Valley Post Acute facility provided the environmemt and care that encouraged my becoming healthier day by day. Gabriel, Louis, Jerricho, Linda, Asia, Bryant, Sherell, Eric, Amanda, Lindsey, Jim, John, Shirley, Anutia, Malisa, Marisol and many others helped to put me (Humpty Dumpty) back together again. My gratitude goes out to all parties that gave to me of their time, learning & experience.
The nurses were awesome. Even when they had to inform me that it wasn't time for some of my meds to be given. They did it with care and compassion. I in turn shared with them that the majority of the clients here are in some form of pain whether its mental, physical, or spiritual. Its their job to advocate for themselves, so do not get raddled by a raised voice. Because its your job to advocate for all of us. You know your job. On April 25th, 2025 I entered Tice Valley Post Acute Care Center, not really knowing where I was or how I had gotten there. The one thing that I did know was that I was being sent to a place that was very appealing, and I don't know how to put this, but love oozed out of every corner and every wing, and care and compassion was very vibrant.
