I took a tour here and the place looked really nice and has a great ambiance. As we walked around the building I saw several residents interacting with the staff and you could tell they were really comfortable and receiving good care. It's nice to find these gems!

I increased from 1-3 stars , because my mother really liked the physical therapist and therapy. She was still unhappy with staffing level at night, noise etc, so we moved her. Staff was very helpful with move.

If you are looking for acute care for a loved one-look no further. After researching, agonizing and visiting some local acute care facilities Tice Valley was the perfect place for my mom to regain strength and recuperate after spending 5 days in ICU. I have been here for Two Days. It looks nice but is rotten onside. I was denied Tylenol from the night nurse The food is so awful that the social worker when she first came to talk to me told me that I'd have to order my food out I have gotten diarrhea from the food here. I asked her eye drops and a Tylenol and I was told by the nurse tonight that she wasn't going to give it to me for whatever reason! I told her I was in pain and she said no. Many delays in medication delivery. Some aides are nasty and rough for someone waiting for more Surgery and not just taking care of broken leg. Therapy people are the best and if they had more uninterrupted time for me I might improve. While they tried to begin my therapy an aide insisted on changing my bed,etc. I give up.I had breakfast at 6am and nothing since then. Call bell ignored completely. Care is adequate to good when you can get it!
