They lie about pricing, put you in a room for hours, and try to convince you to give up your dog bc you don’t have 1600 in your pocket instead of trying to do payment plans for you. They took 600 dollars from me and took my dog saying it was the best option. You are better off going to animal humane.

I don’t even know where to begin. My girlfriend (18) and I (19) just moved into our apartment last month and was looking forward to starting our own life with our kitten Steph Purry. Last night, a dog was hit by a car right outside this vet on Montgomery shortly before 7 pm. When one of us assisting the pet owner get care for his dog ran to the clinic and asked them to come help, they insisted we call first instead of coming out to render emergency aid. When we did call, we got a message that directed us to a different clinic for care, one which none of us knew. For the past eight years I have been taking my cat to ABQ care for her annual shots and shave she is long hair cat so she gets matted, never had problems with ABQ pet care. Under new management you think they would have your pets prior medical records. When I brought my cat for her annual shots they treated my cat like she was a new patient because it was a new doctor who was never seen my cat she had to go through all the blood work and mandatory test all over again. Used to love going here. But now they have a new manager and all the doctors left. something's really wrong if they can't keep their staff. I called four times to speak to the manager and every time we received the run-around. she won't call me back so when I decided to go in she lied straight to my face. I will never go back

Our guinea pig was sick on Saturday. My husband tried calling during the regular working hours to see if he could—at the very least—speak to someone. No one even answered the phone. (He tried twice). This meant we had to take her to an unfamiliar place. At least answer your phones during working hours. Makes me wonder if I can trust them.
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They did absolutely nothing to help my malnourished snake and charged me 94 dollars for it. Then they expected me to bring him back the following week to run tests and tube feed him ( which was gonna cost me over $160!!) I'm not sure why the vet didn't listen to me when I told her he hasn't eaten in over 2 months and that he was just a baby and probably wouldn't live to make it to a follow up appointment.
