The absolute worst way to submit a bill to a patient is what you chose. A text by itself screams of possible scam. It was only after I checked with the office I visited to see if it was a real request that I began to follow up. I tried to pay online. The system wouldn’t accept my account number as it was presented to me. I called the help line, he couldn’t make it work either. I asked if I would be getting a proper bill in the mail, so I could just submit a check. He assured me I would. Fast forward a few days, still no bill... read more
