RecommendedI chose action defense for my CCW class and was very satisfied with my experience. The instructor was very knowledgeable and possesses a lot of experience. I felt confident I had someone who knows what they are doing and aims for excellence in it. I would definitely recommend action defense for firearm and other safety courses.
You need to go to Action Defense if you're looking to take the CCW Class! Doug (the owner and instructor) is excellent!! He is very knowledgeable, professional, helpful and personable (I know, a lot of adjectives but trust me--you'll agree once you get the chance to meet him). Although I'm a new shooter, Doug made me feel so comfortable and confident. And even though this is an 8 hour course, the day just seemed to fly by because there was so much interaction. Recommend anyone looking for a CCW or self-defense class to check out Action Defense. Bob and Doug were great instructors that kept the class engaged while also providing a fun atmosphere even on the Sunday morning of setting the clocks forward for Spring Forward day.

Highly recommend Action Defense! I walked into my CCW class feeling clueless and wayyyy out of my comfort zone. By the time I left I felt educated, and confident. Doug and Bob were great! They made the 8 hours well worth the experience!!! So thank you! 😊
