Dr Taintor is attentive and really cares about your concerns. He works WITH you & allows you the opportunity to voice your thoughts & opinions on treatment. Highly recommend him.
For a little while when I would have visits it seemed as though they were always rushing through my appointment and not entirely hearing me out. Now it seems that they have slowed down a little bit and are listening to all of my concerns and answering my questions. They have become more polite and caring. If there’s anything I can’t stand it’s telling somebody (usually the doctors assistant) about my embarrassing skin problems and feeling like I’m being judged or like my feelings don’t matter. Great demeanor and knowledge
Dr. Taintor was recommended by one of his patients. And I found him to be just as positively kind and communicative as my friend had described. He took time to illustrate what my surgical procedures would be. And when the biopsy results came back, he took time to personally call me, answer my questions, and explain next steps. His staff was equally courteous and professional.
WASTE OF TIME - Took 1.5 hours off work for my scheduled appointment. Waited over 1 hour and never saw the doctor. Finally had to leave to get back to work. Needs to be considerate of people's time!!
The visit was very rushed and left me with more questions than answers, though I tried to trust in his advice. Now that I've visited another dermatologist, who very quickly referred me to a general surgeon, because clearly my case wasn't one for dermatology I've realized Dr. Taintor didn't even take the time to think through my case to come to that conclusion himself. I would not recommend him to anyone, unless maybe you need a quick wart or skin tag frozen off, which his assistant will do.

Don't trust him with any skin surgery. Removing a small cyst from my scalp took 2 surgeries and left me with with a bald spot on my head. He should have recommended a plastic surgeon instead. When I came back he told me to grow my hair to cover the bald spot. I don't believe Dr. Taintor is qualified to perform skin surgeries. Consult with a plastic surgeon before letting him cut your skin.
