Excellent scanner! High speed scanner that comes with access to various free scanning programs. You can download Brother iprint & Scan, ABBYY Fine Reader 11, Brother Utilities and ABBYY PDF Transformer. Have been experimenting with the various programs and have been able to scan directly into searchable PDF's and word documents. Nice touch screen and fairly low profile when both trays are not extended. Solid build.
It's faster Staff loves this was a step up from the Epson we had. Much faster. Software does the trick. We use Adobe to edit.
Great scanner, week software I bought the ADS-3600W to replace an old HP 7000 Scanjet. The ADS-3600W is about twice as fast, good auto detect for double feeds, and it does a good job for auto detect of page size. intuitive and runs well and smoothly directly from my computer. There is a confusing array of software that comes with it, most of which was not helpful and trying to figure it out was a waste of time. The Staff Loves It! Awesome scanner! Fast, easy to setup, simple shortcuts, scan to email, and at a great price compared to other manufactures. We use it as a work group scanner on our network. Configuring is done by logging into a web page hosted by the machine. You can change setting in seconds. The staff loves it! Thank you Brother for making me look like the company hero!
ADS3600w is better than Fujitsu ix500 Fast, good, reliable and simple. Nice smaller file sizes
