My mom was diagnosed w/ vascular dementia in spring of 2023 and by late 2024 it became clear she needed to be moved to a Memory Care home. After evaluating a few places in south Orange County, the family decided to move her into Aegis of Laguna Niguel. My mother was a resident for 6 years at Laguna Niguel, first in assisted living and then in memory care. She was always treated with respect and dignity and genuine interest in her daily life. The ladies of the front desk continually smile for the residents and their families and guests. The medical staff was attentive and kind even in difficult moments. The daily staff in all aspects had a smile and were ready to help with any request. I recommend Aegis with all my heart for their kind care.

My father stayed at Aegis for respite after a hospitalization. We looked at a few options. It was the staff and facilities at Aegis that stood out as the best option. It turned out that my father had a few complications and the staff at Aegis was brilliant. We relied on them over and over again and the communication and care was excellent. The entrance of Aegis of Laguna Niguel. During the holidays, the decorations abound. It's been just over three years since my mother moved in initially in memory care, but she's improved and is now able to live in the assisted living section. Her room has a kitchenette, microwave, small refrigerator, sink, and a larger closet (her favorite part). Aegis of Laguna Niguel has been a blessing for our parents. Our mother has been in the memory care wing for three years and she is very happy. She feels like the staff is family. During the Covid 19 pandemic, Aegis has adhered to the strictest protocols, yet kept the residents fully engaged in individual activities and exercise. My mother has been at this facility for six months now. I cannot say enough about how helpful they are. It was a sudden move after my mother was given the wrong meds at another facility. The entire senior staff helped to get her room ready. Updates on how she is regularly. But the best thing is that the director is easily available to everyone and greets you by name on a regular basis. Aegis is a superior place for care & a facility. Every single staff member goes above and beyond what anyone could ask. The humanistic approach with each of there residence is incredible. From caregivers to management all caring. My Mother now does activities everyday quality of life has increased. They will adjust food menu to each members request. Always take a sample of the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies when visiting Aegis is an exceptional pick for my mother

We were honored for Mom to live at the beautiful Aegis of Laguna Niguel for the last year. We moved her from another local memory care facility where she stayed for just three months due to poor care. Kelly Chong, Marketing Director, listened to our concerns during our initial tour and selection process, and offered excellent recommendations for how Aegis could meet Mom's specific needs.
