Our father lived at Aegis for five months, and we couldn't have asked for a better place for him to call home. From the moment he arrived, we knew he was in caring, capable hands. My mother-in-law has been staying here, and what a great place. The director is wonderful, as is the staff. And the place is just beautiful! Great rooms and gardens and facilities. Very pleased, and we feel good knowing she is safe and in such good hands. My dad recently moved into the Aegis community in Pleasant Hill and our experience has been amazing. The facility is clean and organized with a super friendly staff and everyone there makes you feel special. Lee Kaufmann the GM has made us feel like family and his attention to detail is incredible. As close to a family environment as an assisted living facility can get. I recommend Aegis for families looking for a loving, safe, caring, and clean home for their loved ones. They have worked with me through Mom's many life changes. It takes a village to care for our aging parents/ loved ones. I was blessed to find "this" village to assist with moms care.
Aegis has been a great place for my father for almost 4 years. With his dementia, it has allowed us to choose a single facility where he has been able to reside in assisted living, and if needed, transition to memory care. I can't say enough about the staff and the care that he receives.
