Came back in to have a cracked tooth prepped for a crown. Overall good experience from a highly professional office. Thanks to all the staff involved.
Easy dental experience. Had my teeth cleaned by a highly experienced hygienist, Jody. She suspected a cracked tooth that was evaluated by the Dr. and an appointment to remedy the problem was scheduled for 5 days later. All staff were very knowledgeable and highly professional.
Jodi is off scale wonderful! Dr. Abelar is my hero! Kelly rocks! Thank you to the most outstanding professional dental office in San Diego! I am a client for life! 🤗😎

Jody was extremely helpful in addressing my periodontal issues. She is very knowledgeable and I feel she gives me excellent advice for my dental care.
I'll say this after every appointment.. Jody is the best healthcare provider I've ever had. Teeth are better cared for and cleaned by her than any hygienist on the planet. When the day comes where I can't see her every 6 months, my teeth will give up all hope and start pounding soda to drown their sorrows.
Just stopped in to pick up some perio guard. We have been using this product for years and feel certain that it has helped keep our teeth healthy. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Abelar and Jody for many years and couldn't image every seeing anyone else.
From my very first consultation with Dr. Abelar to completion of the replacement of my upper teeth with gorgeous, natural looking porcelain crowns - my experience and aesthetic outcome could not have been better. Although I live in Northern California, the flights to San Diego to have Dr. Abelar as my asthetic dentist were well worth the travel. I would rate him as an unequivocal 10!
Can't say it was fun getting cavities filled but Dr Abelar was quick and efficient.
