For many ears I was happy with them until recently when I took my dog in for appt they insisted my appt was 5:30 but I know I said 6:30 cause I had to work at 5 the vet said he would see us but we would have to wait and there would be a upcharge Well I left and will not go back why should I pay a up charge for their mistake
took my pit there to have her eye looked at to make sure it wasn't infected. Staff basically ignored my dog, customers acted like she was vicious. receptionist that was checking us in at one point stood blocking my dog from another customer so she could get her 2 dogs in a room. when we were brought into a room the assistant vets came in, ignored my dog who had went up to them to greet them. i took my Harley a black lab to Affordable vet on Groesbeck for 2 months while she was sick and they kept telling me she had a tissue inflamed in her back leg and pneumonia. They took blood work and X rays . There was a mass in her chest also . She was getting worse i took her back in and they increased he antibiotic and gave her pain meds . Within less than a week she was not walking on 2 of her legs. I went to another Vet and they looked at the x rays and blood work and knew she had a cancer that was aggressive . My poor... read more
When one of their REGULAR Customer Pet is ill and they tell you they can't see My Furbaby for 3 weeks.....and then, She died.

I think they are a BIG RIP OFF. They tell you 1 thing on the phone and then they nickle and dime you to death once you get there. Then they give you this big Bill and say, well you can apply for a Care Card. Which Most Places will give you 12 or 24 months to pay without interest. THEY CHOOSE TO ONLY GIVE YOU 6 MONTHS. I guess they are trying to get all the money they can before they get sued for letting an animal die because a person left home without wallet in a hurry because they were rushing to get medical assistance f... read more
