The best decision I ever made! I LOVE this place! They took time to talk to me about issues with my cat and was very gentle in giving my cat his vaccinations. I have gone to several Vets in the area and have walked away feeling taken advantage of and worried for my pets health due to over vaccinations and/or overdosing on anestetic. I feel safe with my pets at this animal hospital, I would give more stars if I could.

They clearly missed their exam of my pet and he was taken to another vet in Folsom and was examined and they found a cancerous tumor on his right side stomach. My pet had to put to sleep. I spent 400.00 dollars to Akaal Pet hospital to tell me he needed to be tested for heart condition!!! He did not have a heart condition!! as the test proved..
The front desk staff was friendly and our Vet Technician was friendly enough. We had an appointment and showed up a bit early, they were able to see us (which was awesome). The staff is very friendly, however I had to wait an hour and a half to even be seen by the doctor! And that was with and appointment! The rooms are not mopped in between dogs, only the tables are cleaned! The room we were in smelled like old urine! My dog had kennel cough and was sneezing all over the floor, so if they are not mopping the floor, other dogs are getting sick! Then I was told...
