RecommendedThey love my dog and want her to be as healthy as possible. And she's pretty keen on all the staffers there too. That says a lot.
They are always so nice at there especially with Stanley who does not like his feet touch when he gets his nails trimmed. Stanley is a pug.
Dr. Schmidt is my new favorite vet. So many great vets have been here at Alaska Veterinary Clinic and the staff is always excellent!

I’ve been to a ton of different vet clinics and they are hands down the best! They’re fair priced and the entire staff is so friendly. I’ve had appts with a few of their docs throughout the years and they’re all so thorough and understanding with my very scared old pup ❤️ love them!
Every single one of the staff members have been so amazing. They’re so kind and considerate. Taking my pup to the vet is never an easy task but they work with her needs and she loves how sweet they are and so do I! To add on! They are incredible. My stubborn pup would not make her way inside so what did AVC do?.... they came outside to help her. Doing things Above and Beyond!

It is one of the cleanest vets in Anchorage: no wet dog smell, no cat urine smell. They keep it really clean and that makes a huge difference when I bring my cats in They don't get freaked out by all the animal smells. AVC also has really kind vets who handle my cats with care and respect. You can tell everyone in there loves their job and the animals who come in. I love them!
