I was assigned Dr. Johnson when my previous cardiologist left St Als. My first and only meeting with him was at the hospital the morning of my angiogram. After getting my blood test results, he burst into my room and announced '... you are going to die', claimed my LDL was 'very high,' without sharing lipid panel numbers. He assumed that my angiogram would show that my arteries were clogged. The angiogram showed that my arteries are NOT clogged. There was one 'lesion' that showed some plaque. He failed in even greeting or acknowledging the presence of my husband on first office visit. Ordered appropriate studies, but failed in any follow-up response.
Dr. Johnson has been my fathers doctor for a few years now. He does not listen at all and keeps going down the same path of switching my fathers medication weekly which causes him to have no quality of life. My father spent 2 weeks in the hospital last year, again in August and just got released last week after spending almost another week in the hospital. Once again Dr Johnson keeps his medication the same. We will be changing doctors.
Worst Doctor at St. Als he has zero bedside manner, refuses to explain anything and leaves you with nothing.
