The 1st time I tried, there was an error message, but my son tried several days later and it went all the way thru. I chose to get my refund by check and that arrived promptly a few days later. People always say you shouldn't bother with these policies, but for the minimal cost, I believe they're worth it, especially for an appliance that only worked the 1st time used, and never after.
