I made this appointment prior to our move to Montrose. I had to schedule a follow up for my kitties ear infection. Everyone (Doctors, technicians, staff) at Alta Vista Animal Hospital was welcoming and caring. The office is near my new home. The office is cozy and the view outside is amazing. I appreciate them doing the follow up exam and addressing the concerns I had about her ear. Dr. Linday and Danielle were so caring and understanding. I’m so happy I found them. This will be my vet for both of my kitties from now on!

Since moving here in 2015, we've always brought our 4 legged family members to Alta Vista for the best in Vet care. Dr. Renee has our full trust and admiration for the level of care she provides all the patients she sees. We were very fortunate to have found Alta Vista Animal Hospital. Last year, we had to say goodbye to a family member and the staff were so compassionate and professional that we didn't have to scramble around with the final details while grieving the loss. I highly recommend Alta Vista. I have 2 little chihuahua yorkie mix girls that need extra attention and care because we’ve had bad experiences at other places. This place takes all the one on one time you need. They get to know your baby and educate you. They have a very loving touch. They really care about pets and it shows 100%. This is our place from here on out. At the end I was fighting back the tears of relief and amount of love they put into their work.

Dr. Rumrill patiently listened as I explained the specific issues I had with my cat. Her recommendation was right on par with my own ideas. In this case, medication. She told me they had a short-term supply on hand, and would send an rx to my pharmacy. When I explained that I had not budgeted for the medication and was not sure I had enough to cover anything they might provide that day, she said she'd send in one of the assistants with the full amount due for the exam & meds while I checked my bank balance. I am visiting the area and Alta Vista staff worked me in to have my dog, Josie, checked out. Even though I was late getting there they were extremely nice and still let us see the doctor. Dr. Maria Zayas has a wonderful personality, was thorough and gentle in her exam of Josie and gave me treatment options along with what they would cost. I agreed with her diagnosis and treatment plan and did not feel overcharged being I was basically a work-in. All the staff at Alta Vista were so nice. I couldn’t have asked for better.
