I chose American Fence and was given 14 days to accept the estimate. I accepted the estimate on day 12 and was told the price increased about $800. When asking they could not give a honest answer on why but tried saying it was because of a gate being put in a different corner. It made no sense to me and said they would split the increase. I needed the fence for my dogs and agreed. That was the beginning of a bad experience to say the least. The install was terribly late and the installer quit on the company. American fence installed a large 6’ cedar privacy fence for us this summer. Our initial interaction was good. Workers were very respectful, efficient, and helpful. We had several issues with this company, and would not recommend to others: 1. We asked to reinforce areas of the fence. We were told this couldn’t be done and was unnecessary. A PHENOMENAL CREW, LISTENED TO MY NEEDS, LISTENED TO MY CONCERNS. GAVE ME AN INSTALL DATE 8 WEEKS OUT...THEY WERE THERE IN 3. WE OPERATE A DOG RESCUE, THEY WERE CONSIDERATE OF THE DOGS, CAREFUL WITH EQUIPMENT AROUND THEM, CAREFUL WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING THE YARD. STAYED AND SECURED AREAS PRIOR TO LEAVING EACH DAY.... STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR NEXT FENCING NEEDS.... WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN IF I HAD MORE YARD TO FENCE!!!!

Horrible to work with and low quality materials. Fence was supposed to be tight with the ground. Corner boards weren’t nailed in either. Still charged me full $3,300 🙄

Avoid at any and all costs doing business with American Fence Company. We had them install a chain link fence at our house and regret it more than you could ever imagine. June 16, 2016: we had Andy measure our yard and give an estimate. Jume 27, 2016: we paid 60% of the cost, and was told it would be three or so weeks before they could install the fence.
