My dad was admitted to short term rehab, which is excellent. After 2 months he was transferred to a long term floor and it's TERRIBLE. It's completely different for long term residents. They don't get a phone so you can't call to talk to your loved ones. They have cable but you have to bring your own TV. Short term rehab floor has phones and TV.
