I’ve had Dr. Shah for a while and I really enjoy her communication and care before preop before my procedures. I really have no bad experience with her professional knowledge and personal treatment. We’ve had good conversations and communication with each other I would highly recommend with no problem.

I've been a patient of Dr.Shah's for about 2 years and she is probably my favorite doctor. She always reaches out to see how I'm doing, has done multiple procedures on me and has given me options for treatment plans. I am currently dealing with some medical issues and Dr.Shah has been there to help me through it each step of the way. I highly recommend her!
I visited Capital Digestive Care and Dr. Shah for care related to IBD. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Shah and Capital Digestive Care. Everyone in the office was friendly, fast, and accommodating. Dr. Shah is very knowledgeable, professional, and makes you feel comfortable and understood. She is great about working out a treatment plan and taking into consideration your own preferences. You can tell she truly cares about you and the treatment you choose and making sure you are staying healthy.
At Capital Digestive Care I felt warmly welcomed at every step of the process- even @ front desk. This was my first consultation w/Dr Shah. She seemed prepared for the conversation, had suggestions for me, we had time to go over every symptom & concern that I had- I did not feel rushed! She was supportive & seemed knowledgable on each issue mentioned. She gave me a gameplan to test out and we will revisit in a couple months. I feel confident so far to work on digestive issues with Dr Shah!
My son is a Colitis patient of Dr. Shah's. She has been a literal life-saver for him. She absolutely cares for him and calls to check up on him if she hasn't seen him as frequently as she likes. During a recent hospital stay she called and texted us constantly to keep abreast of what was going on and at 11 pm was up compiling and forwarding pertinent medical records for me to give to the doc at the hospital. My son avoided unnecessary surgery becuz of her intervention!! We love love love her!
I was an inpatient at SMH I LOVE this Dr. she is direct, professional, and after just one consultation with her I had 100% confidence in her ability to perform a procedure on me she is awesome ! highly recommend to everyone !
Dr. Shah provided an overview of my options which was helpful. However, I felt very judged and uncomfortable when asking her questions. Her answers were judgmental rather than professional
Felt rushed during appointments and treatments, and did not receive comprehensive treatment or information. Not pleasant interactions. Took forever to get information or appointments.
