I switched to Dr. Haas after my commute changed and made my previous dermatologist somewhat of a pain to get to. I've always had many moles; however, I had only one removed in my adult life. After seeing Dr. Haas, she recommended removing one or multiple moles upon every 6-month visit. I took my seven year old to Dr. Haas and was incredibly displeased with her care. She was unfriendly and sour, and never tried to put my child at ease. When he naturally misbehaved because he felt uncomfortable she was even more unpleasant and actually said hurtful and inappropriate mean comments to him and to me. She was unprofessional and just plain unkind. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a pediatric dermatologist to avoid Dr. Haas and her practice. She doesn't come across as very caring, talked to her nurse about vacation plans while doing a procedure on me. She missed that my skin issue was indicative of a much greater health problem, and dumped all her patients with CIGNA insurance because her staff has to "fill out too many forms". Refused to refer me to anyone else, and wanted to charge me for my records.

Had to repeat issues several times to her. She prescribed harsh medication that could've been treated with gentler and more natural items. Also does not seem to be aware of issues that affect ethnic populations.
