Since moving to Idaho, my wife and I have been recipients of the outstanding medical care through Saint Alphonsus. Previous healthcare providers have been fair to good from Kaiser to Providence. But we have been utterly impressed with the medical care staff at Saint Alphonsus. Especially.with Drs Pierson, Codina, Linn, Fredline, Evans, Risch, Brooks, and Klein. I couldn’t hope or wish for better medical care. And thanks to Dr Pierson, I am on the road to recovery.

So Dr Pierson was new to me as a patient and he treated me like I was a waste of time and not worth any effort to work with. When he left the exam room and closed the door I could hear him talking poorly about me to his nurse. I will not recommend this facility to anyone because of him. I have only ever once cried in a Dr. Appointment and this was a close second as I had to take time in my car to compose myself from the treatment I experienced.

My experience with Dr. Pierson involves a prior diagnosis of Factor V Leidin (FVL). I do not suffer from a prior event of Thrombosis though. A doctor who told me he is uncomfortable reading the official diagnosis performed at a CLIA laboratory, in my opinion does NOT make him qualified to treat anyone who reported a family history of FVL to him. Dr. Pierson performed a Factor II test on me, then told me he would NOT send me on or recommend me to a Rheumatologist (positive ANA).
Terrible. He read my pathology report wrong he was going to have me do 6mon extra chemo that I don't need. Thank goodness for my nurse navigator. Do not recommend him at all. I gave him 1 star because he shook my hand no other reason.
For being a cancer doctor he doesn't explain his treatment. And don't belive his patients about the pain they are in he assumes he does and don't help with the patients pain. He is very rude. His staff is very sweet and caring and kind. And his nurse that assist him is very rude and unprofessional so is the doctor. Don't recommend any one to go to him.
