RecommendedWe have gone to Animal Doctors since it first opened. Our pets are family and they have been cared for as family. Our oldest “pup” ,Pip, just celebrated his birthday on Cinco de Mayo-15 years young. A shout out to Dr. Kendal Putnam who is very special and caring especially as we went through a very difficult time with losing Pip’s companion,Sugar, at 13 years. All of the vets and staff at Animal Doctors are wonderful!
I appreciate that they allow walk-ins, and I did not have to wait long. They also gave me an option to try antibiotics first before a more expensive work-up.
We were visiting from out of town when our dog needed veterinarian care. We walked in, our dog was diagnosed and treated and we were finished in an hour. This was a great experience considering the circumstances. The staff was friendly and professional and the final fee was reasonable. This is a great resource for the Tampa area.

I‘ve used this service 2x and found Dr Putnam to be very compassionate, professional, competent and she goes the extra step to help. She helped me with a diet for my obese dog she only saw once and notice after lab work she may have a disease process. She hasn’t been overly aggressive in treating the elderly pet which I appreciate. They took a neighborhood feral cat and never shied away from touching her. This is a drop in clinic, no appointment. We were in desperate need to have both of our dogs vaccinated for rabies. we were told about Animal Doctors walk-in service so decided to go there. They were busy when we got there but the staff was great in getting us in, paperwork and all. Very pet friendly staff!
Great experience! We got in quickly and my dog felt so much better after the fluids and meds. The bill was very reasonable. Found my new vet!
