Animal Medical Center was established in 1983 at 6201 Amarillo Boulevard West as a full-service veterinary facility with one veterinarian on staff. In 1993, the size of the facility was doubled to add additional boarding and hospital space. In 1998, we again enlarged the facility and also separated the hospital business from the boarding business. Wonderful.caring staff !!!!!.For.12 yrs. Dr Laveta Bryan took greatest of care of my precious poodle, Fritzi...... And me !!!! Tried hard to save him but was not meant to be......God bless for sending him over rainbow 🌈 bridge where he no longer suffers...Thanks to one of the staff for making footprints for me to cherish!!!! Love everyone at the clinic! They are wonderful with my dog, Charlie and their Paws Plan is a life safer if you are on a tight budget. If not for the Paws Plan I would have lost Charlie when he got sick a few months ago (or had a nervous break down wondering how I was going to pay for his medication and treatment). They saved his life and I love that I did not have to worry about being able to afford to bring him in due to having the Paws Plan for him. I have been using this clinic for 2 yrs and Charlie and I couldn't be hap... read more

Absolutely love this place. Everyone I have come in contact with, at the Clinic and at Tails Inn next door is so nice and caring. You can tell they truly love animals. I recommend this facility to all my friends.
We had to take our Doberman there last year thinking he had Parvo. Thankfully it was just a parasite in his tummy. The compassion and love they showed us convinced us to switch vets on all our dogs. Lastnight, my Dobie stepped on a stick and it went all the way through the pad of his foot. Called the vet and they said come on in, we will wait on you. Thankfully he is fine and they gave us some medicine and a treatment plan. My family is grateful our dogs have someone caring and compassionate taking such good care of them.
