I was recommended to Ascension by my regular dentist (Shout out to Doc Wilkinson & Bencaz Dental) to get my lower wisdom teeth removed. I'm terribly afraid of dental work of any kind so naturally I was apprehensive. I shouldn't have been. The staff was courteous (even when my guard was up)and very thorough. They gave clear instructions for me to follow for pre and post-op and now I know why that's important. I had my surgery about 17 hours ago and I can barely tell. My surgery was explained to make sure I understood what the procedure entailed and I was contacted by the doctor that night to make sure there were no problems. Every one at the office was very polite.
I highly recommend Dr.Josephs & his staff. Im 21 & this is my first “ surgery “ ( wisdom teeth ). i grabbed him hand while getting the laughing gas & was getting really nervous. He then talked me through the whole pre-procedure before i went under. After the surgery, him & his staff explained everything to my husband, while they were also taking care of me.
