The new management is awful. It's pretty crazy and unorganized over there. The kitchen ran out of eggs one morning. Eggs! Other meals have been short on food too. But, by god, the dining room has new light fixtures and new seating. My dad thought the WiFi went down, but it turned out that the new management forgot to share the new password with the residents. The staff turnover is outrageous. The bus rarely works. Their priorities are out of whack over there.

This is what we feel, the problem is in the kitchen. The food is rarely good and the portions are small, they run out of what is supposed to be served and sometimes they change the menu with no notice. I seldom eat here anymore, and when I do I usually leave hungry and have to go out to eat again within a few hours. They serve soup daily and it's a joke. Nice facility, manicured, well maintained and management team are great! Very willing to help in anyway. Maintenance is great! On a scale of 1 - 5, I would give the food a #2 for overall service. The hot food is cold, not enough green vegetables, too many carbs and not enough protein. Rent is too high! Parking space could be improved.

Activities - 10 Housekeeping - 10 Staff - 10 Security - 10 Pet Welcomed - 10 Front Desk - 10 Maintenance - 10 Curbside Appeal - 10 Safety Emphasized - 10 Covid-19 Safety - 10 Food - 2 Too many carbs; Hot foods barely warm, need more fresh vegetables, fresh fruit choices, chicken or tuna salad very skimpy on sandwich (1 Tablespoon), far too many casseroles, way too little protein with pastas. Need fresh green salad daily.

Chef buys prepared breaded foods. Runs out of staples frequently. rumor is that he gets to keep what he doesn’t spend on food during a month.

I've lived here, it will be 2 years in Oct. We do need a new bus. Ours has been in the shop this past year more times than I can count. [name removed] keeps telling us we are in the running for a new one. We feel we moved in to have a rented one, and no driver. Last time I had to use Uber to get to my Doctor. This is important to all of us. There are people here who need to know if its a good bus. Ours has broken down with people on it.

I toured this facility with my Wife while looking for a place to live. We ended up putting a deposit down for an apartment and was told it would take about 45 days for us to get approved for VA. After putting the deposit down I was called the next week and told the apartment with the balcony that we reserved, wasn’t available because it wasn’t safe. Then we got told it would take an extra 6 months for us to get approved by the VA. This facility doesn’t have their act together. I would not recommend them to other families.
