I had my first appt with Dr. Crystal Coats at Aspen Dental (Manassas) on 3/8/25 and I am delighted to say this was the most positive experience I've ever had at a dentist! From the moment I walked into the office, I was treated with respect & dignity even though I knew I needed extensive dental work. I called today 11/03/2025-- trying to set up an appointment. I kept getting the run around by the receptionist, who was very uniform about basic questions being asked.The Office Manager Lorraine had the call transfered to her.(Her reply: she is not able to answer these in depth questions -then why is she there? Lorraine's attitude was abrupt, dismissive, condescending when talking to me. New Patients: Please exercise caution I would like to express my concerns regarding the pricing of procedures. I was not offered the advertised 20% discount for new patients, nor was I able to utilize the reduced-cost insurance option that I had paid for upfront at $49.00. Although no procedures were performed, I still incurred the $49 charge. Clean office, once in the office they want to do an X-ray. I have post with dentures no teeth. Then the up-sale cancer screening. All I wanted was replaced my existing dentures no surgery, no dental unless you consider casting as work. They quoted me 10k. I was expecting 4 to 5k but 10.

My wife and I have US dental insurance, but cannot get care in our home town because no one is accepting new patients. We have to make appts when we travel. We made it clear we were traveling, couldn't come back and needed teeth cleaning. We drove far out of the way because this dental location said they could take us. My wife is half done with visit and they tell me she's not getting a cleaning, they don't do that on first visit, and they want us to come back. We will never be in area again. They knew this.
