Dr DeSouza is not paid enough!!! My vision is almost completely back after my retinal detachment surgery.
Unfortunately, my experience has not been good. First, the office called me the night before at 5:10 pm and said my surgery may have to be delayed. She called me at 10:55 the next am and said it was a go....very stressful as I live an hour away from the surgery planned for noon. Following, the next day I had to see another dr who wouldn't answer questions because he didn't do the surgery! the doctor (Dr. Desouza) conducted a retina detachment surgery and all I remember was him talking about his weekend and what everybody did and how much fun they had. very little talk on my retina detachment and of course the surgery he did cused my to lose peripheral vision and i no longer see straight lines on my left eye. after the 3nd visits I went to another doctor.
Recommended surgery when not needed at the time. A doctor of few words.
This office is overbooked for 1 doctor. Approximately 20 patients appointments are scheduled within 1hr so you'll expected to wait 2-3hrs. Dr only spent about 5mins face time with the patient. Making patient comes in for unnecessary exam when dr. order test but have no record of what was being ordered. Test results not available yet and still scheduled patient to come which cost more out of pocket cost for unnecessary visits. Overall, definitely needed better scheduling process
I spent hours waiting for Dr. Reddy and thought they had forgotten me. We he did show up, he spent about 5 minutes with me, barely examined my eyes and said very little to me. I felt I was a nuisance.
