Was required to get a simple form filled for my daughter to have a dental procedure under anesthesia with another physician. She had had a physical at Avance Care within the past 12 months so there should have been no charge/issue with completing the form. Instead, the office made us come in , basically asked her how she was feelings then billed us $214 for filling out the simple form . Insurance covered $93, leaving us with a $121 out of pocket cost . AVOID this place- shady billing practices.

This is my second time putting this review up. It looks like the company deleted my review and any other negative review. I would give them a zero if possible. They consistently make you go back 2-3 times for simple conditions if you want any kind of treatment. We were even told during one visit that if you don't feel better in a few days call back and we will send antibiotics into the pharmacy. Worst possible experience! on 11/21/23 got sent to Wake Radiology for X-Ray Today is 11/30/23. Nine days later still waiting for someone from Avance Care to call back with results. Have been calling for 4 days now for someone to call back with results. No calls yet. Called their number 919-665-1000 which is supposed to be their local number someone from some other country picks up. I wanted to pass on a compliment from myself and my rheumatology team. I saw Micaela Burke, FNP-C at the Morrisville location, due to pain in my joints. When she saw me and viewed my symptoms, she treated me super efficiently, ordering tests, and making a referral to a rheumatologist. When I saw my rheumatologist and his PA on 2 separate occasions both made it a point to tell me how they were very impressed by Micaela's quick action in ordering tests, and sending me to them so prepared. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Beena Patel, DO. The doctors, PAs, and nurses made sure to address my concerns and ensured it was patient-focused. The one thing I liked is that she used osteopathic manipulative medicine procedures on me to treat one of my complaints. The office is also very clean and didn't have to wait long for my appointment. Overall, I would highly recommend Avance care to anyone that requires care in the local area!

I like to give them 0 star as they are doing kind of blackmailing for the prescription refill. They ask you to go for unnecessary tests every quarter for approval of refills.

Overall an ok office for a routine visit. Nothing horrible but nothing outstanding either. They do need to be closely watched with their billing practices. My entire family went in for flu vaccines over several days. One person's birthday was entered incorrectly to the insurance company and thus the claim was denied. They claimed to have mailed a bill that was returned. Rather than picking up the phone to call to double check insurance or mailing information they give me a late fee.
