RecommendedI first met Jerry Payne when I thought I had a deal on my house and Jerry did the inspection of what was supposed to be my new home. That deal fell through. However six weeks later I got a bona fide deal on my house and when I found a different condo to buy I did not hesitate to contact Axium and request Jerry again. I was quite pleased with his inspection and his patience in reviewing the report with me afterwards. You will not be sorry in your decision in choosing Axium for your inspection needs.
Axium installed a radon mitigation system in my families home in 2021 and it never worked, never received any clean reports and now that the house has sold, it failed the radon test. Axium was called to take a look and that is when we discovered we have been exposed to radon poisoning for 3 years along with my 3 and 2 year old grandkids. Axium Inspectors are fantastic and they did a great job on the inspection however, they sell your contact info to a 3rd party who will call, even after you tell them to stop calling, multiple times per week trying to sell you other services. I thought my payment of $750 for their inspection services were enough I did not know there were strings attached.
Save yourself time and aggravation and go with another company. I am a licensed realtor who uses a bunch of different inspection companies. I decided to use Axium. He spent a good part of our inspection talking about how busy he was and how he was already late for his next inspection. I had to have the inspector come BACK because he missed a second electrical panel. Rescheduled to have him come back, but he did not show up for our 8:00 a.m. appointment. I’m a home owner selling my house, my buyers hired Axium to do the inspection, extremely unprofessional the way they left my house after their inspection, they left my dishwasher on, left my insulation inserts to the basement windows strung all over the floor, left the washer and dryer units pulled out to where the cords were taught that could result in damage, left my carpet flipped up in my laundry room and they left multiple lights on. It’s to bad they would conduct business this way. Steer clear of this company.
