The food, ambience and service is the best in Milwaukee. Be prepared to pay for it though. We go once per year for a special occasion and are never disappointed! I highly recommend this restaurant for that special occasion.

Bacchus is one of our favorite places in Milwaukee for a nice leisurely meal for a special occasion. We are pescatarians, and we love that there is both a vegetarian and a regular menu to choose from. The food was outstanding, with a range of tastes, and paced just right. One of us had 1/2 glass wine pairings with the meal and these were a real treat. The other had a classic cocktail that was top notch. The servers were highly attentive. Thank you Bacchus for an excellent meal and dining experience.

Bacchus prepared an excellent gourmet cheese appetizer and filet mignon dinner. The tomahawk pork chop was divine. The wine and cocktails were also excellent. The service was exceptional. This was one of the nicest dining experiences we’ve had in the downtown area. We’ll be back soon!

Lovely, lovely restaurant. Service is outstanding. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Waiters/waitresses kind, considerate and incredibly attentive without being annoying. Atmosphere is very upscale but not stuffy in the least bit. The food is exceptional. Unusual but not bizarre. The size of appetizers and entrées generous for this type of restaurant.
