Bacchus remains my favorite restaurant in the Milwaukee region. The new makeover is stylish without pretension, and the restaurant retains the same essential characteristics that make it a favorite: superb cooking; a well-curated wine list with encyclopedic coverage of regions, varietals, and price points; and a top-notch, knowledgeable and incredibly professional staff. First time there since the renovation. Much brighter. Noise level much quieter. Fantastic service. The food was exceptional. Glad we decided to try it again. We'll definitely go back.
Really fabulous dinner! Cocktails at the lovely bar set the tone. Started with an exceptional Leek Soup, we shared the Lobster Ravioli...outstanding and so appreciated the suggestion by our server or we would have missed! Our second trip here and it was even better than the first. Patrick and Whitney took such good care of us - extremely friendly and accommodating. Whitney was very attentive. Patrick's wine pairings were spot on (even if you don't eat dessert, DEFINITELY drink it - the Vin Constance from South Africa was A-MAZ-ING). It was an exceptional way for my husband and I to celebrate 15 years together. Thank you!!
