This is shady: I called the Salinas Police Dept after receiving a collect call from jail. I was somehow automatically transferred to Bail Hotline. After filling out all the forms I was told it would be 3-5 hours. Never received a call. I was called when the person I was trying to bail out was released. I assumed Bail Hotline had finally posted the bail. Later I find out the charges were changed and no bail was needed. Two days later I get a call from Bail Hotline about the refund. I wish I could leave a negative star rating. These guys are crooks and thief's. Bc of covid my bail was revoked due to my attorney and miss communication. I was charged a extra 3800$ on top of the 9k I paid to post bond and in no shape or way will they try and work with my under this circumstance. I was never in no compliance with them or the courts and every time I try to resolve this matter I'm given a attitude and there right and I'm wrong and I have to just end the phone call. I've co-signed thru this company twice now. They were friendly on the phone and payment plans and arrangements seemed feasible. The first time I cosigned and waited three or four hours till I called them and asked him what was going on. They said another company was going to be the Bailbond. No call was made me. They sent me a refund slip by email which I returned in 2 minutes. Warning! Do not ever use them if u want to be treated like just $ in their pocket... I called around 12 midnight filled out 3-4 different emails as requested, then called back several times before I went to bed (I was super tired). I was told all documents were received after being passed around to several different agents and that to wait April 4-6 hours and he would be realeased.
