Tell the patient more about the practical side of the procedure. What will be done what difficulties to expect how long it will take. The doctor and assistants were great but I wish I would have known how hard it was to breathe and how long it was going to take.
I didn't quite finish my previous assessment but I think there were several people assisting. As a whole, Dr. Krauss and his staff were amazing! Everyone was very supportive and very caring! They made me feel very welcome and the assistant that created my temporary teeth is so talented-they look like real teeth. She is very talented! Thank you!
When in the chair and eyes covered with glasses on and towels, keep the patient informed as to what is going to happen "next". I had a bout of anxiety when my eyes were covered and I was lying there supine and was waiting for Dr Krauss, my anxiety rose because no one was saying anything and I didn't know what was going to happen and when? I removed the glasses sat up a little and felt a little better.
