I have a great fear of the dentist. Once I arrived the dental assistant calmed me and talked to me throughout the whole time. She also explained the procedure and let me know what would happen next time I came.

Bottom line, the patient was unhappy because the dental have been maximized for this year. Patient did not believe us. we thoroughly explained to this patient that this is accurate. The treatment this patient received is excellent, according to any standard of care. The issue is about dental benefits. Sorry, everyone, but this is NOT the dentist you hear about on the radio or on his website. His technicians are great, but his technique is rough and he's in an obvious hurry. I've never felt so much pain and even when I complained he wouldn't lessen his tactic. He uses a rubber boot in your mouth to hold it open which is most uncomfortable and covers your eyes with a cloth. He's rushed and makes no effort to be personable. I purchased a certificate for teeth whitening but know I need treatment. I asked receptionist to call me if you would be able to honor gift two expired gift certificates because I purchased 4 and gave two to Garden Pathways Chief of Staff. He wasn’t aware that gift certificate(s) had just expired. I never received a return or follow up call in regards to GC. Was a little disappointed to say the least, especially because I purchase a few at a time.
I really had to dig deep to come up with a comment because the entire staff is so dedicated to providing quality patient care. I guess it would be to make it clear what is the plan for the next appointment; what part of your dental plan are we working to accomplish at the next appointment and how long do you anticipate that appointment to take. That way there is a clear plan and there won’t be any misunderstandings or any other commitments to interfere.
