RecommendedI don't know how to put my experiences on paper, but I will try. LAST night Dr.Garland and Her Manager Brooke saved one of my dog's lives. Now Barclay is my normal vet, has been for a little over a year now. I travel from Battle Ground Washington because they are so good to me and our dogs. So I brought my dog there Monday due to her passing away. I agreed to have my dog cremated Monday and I ordered a paw print to go along with the remains which will return to us. Well I went there yesterday to pick up the remains and it took them forever to find them, and to top it all off they couldn't find the dog print that was supposed to accompany it. I called them again today and the lady said that the people that they didnt get a dog print of the body and cremated the dog without taking a paw print so now we can not ge... read more
Took my chihuahua to another vet for a dental cleaning and they recommended 14 extractions costing $1100. Went to Barclay Hills for a second opinion and they told me they like to be conservative with extractions and recommended removal of 6 for under $500. I feel that they were honest and fair, and they advised what would be best for my pup and not their bottom line!
TREATED HORRID! We took our dog in to have a tiny bump removed from his side. Dr. Garland chose/used internal sutures (to “save us from having to come back again” BS!) but did not close the wound. Waited 24 hours and the wound began to open up (of course). Had to go back the following day, ended up paying to sedate our dog again and was charged again for their mistake. No apology, when we finally were able to contact our regular Dr. Ferro he was dismissive about our concerns and treated us disrespectfully. They showed no car... read more
I took my kitten here to be neutered, and my puppy for a new puppy exam. I only went here because it's a lot less expensive than the Vet I had been going to. And because all the reviews I read seemed all right. But when I came to pick my cat up, the whole office - and my cat reeked of cat pee. I had to stand there for at least three minutes then finally ask the sectretary if I was supposes to pay now.
