Would not recommend using Barker Animal Hospital, specifically Dr Barker. I own a large dog who is extremely fearful and can react due to this. My dog has always visited wearing a muzzle and on medication to help ensure safety and comfort of everyone. We have also done Victory Visits with him to get him more comfortable being handled by strangers. These visits went very well and he made a lot of progress. I have been taking my dog here since he was 8 weeks old. He is now 1. I have recommended all of my friends to them. Found out today they have been putting a muzzle on my dog without my knowledge. Recently he has been fighting to go into the building and we were confused to why. He normally does in with no fight. Now things seem to be clicking. I am not happy.
