I'm not a "let's chitchat", then talk about what my dental issues are, then toss in some more "chitchat". I know whether gifted or " nose to the grindstone 24/7" , dental school , as with other advance education, is demanding and time consuming. Once completed, the real work , coupled with the the joy of doing work that you enjoy, and helps many, is rewarding, especially when the Dr. steps in the room, reviews X rays, prods the teeth then says, "Here's what we are going to do and why". I have dental anxiety and was very nervous prior to my appointment. Dr. Bergens walked in and was so friendly and personable that I could feel myself calming down. The office staff was very friendly. When I left, I did not feel nervous. Very nice dental practice.
