We found Best Friends Animal Hospital shortly after we moved to Fort Myers. We chose them initially because of their location near our home in Gateway, but after a couple of years of taking our dogs to them, we would continue to use their services even if they were clear across town! The office staff, techs, and doctors are so friendly and efficient. The office is very clean and well kept. I took my cat Hemmy in to try and help me decide on whether or not to put him down. Dr. Hedge was caring, informative and very understanding to my concerns and heartache. I never once felt rushed by her or her tech Bri. Bri was also very sweet and comforted me during what ended up being a very sad day. In the end, Dr. Hedge helped me make the right decision..

Everyone at Best Friends was absolutely amazing when we needed our puppy Layla evaluated urgently after her surgery at another facility. Dr. Hedges was so compassionate! Her clinical skills are impressive as well as the entire staff keeping us informed as to Layla's condition, treatment plan, cost, etc. In spite of having to leave Layla for a day of IV fluids and meds, my husband and I drove away with such a feeling of comfort and reassurance.
