BizCounsel is an excellent service for people who are self-employed like me. I mainly need them for contract review, business guidance, and formation of my business. The sales process was very informative, although the salesperson forgot to send me the document or price and services sheet. I had to follow up and ask. The first attorney I spoke with didn't seem very knowledgeable about incorporating my business, and he suggested I speak with a CPA, so in that regard, I do wish BizCounsel offered tax attorneys as well. The second attorney I spoke with, after talking to a CPA, seemed knowledgeable, and provided great ideas and suggestions. There was a bit of follow-up I had to do on my end to get someone to contact me back for an appointment to speak with an attorney. I also think they should give longer than a 7-day free trial because in my case, I couldn't talk with the second attorney until after 7 days. Their contracts are a year which I don't like being locked into a contract agreement, so I hope this goes well. The things they need to improve are 1). Following up, 2), Get a secure website or platform where customers can provide personal information. I was asked for my social security number and other personal details via email. NOT GOOD! I refused to give any of that information in an email. Overall I would recommend and my interaction with them has been positive.

Got my advertising business up and running, got my first client, then got 12 pages of changes from the client on our MSA! Bizcounsel was everything. Our attorney went back and forth with me on the changes - told me what I could live with and what I should probably push back on. After changes, they did one final look and we're in business. Probably saved me hundreds if not more. Thanks to you all! 😘
