The small animal portion of the clinic was sold in 1994 to Dr. Ted Mohr and the equine portion was sold separately. Dr. Mohr practiced solo until 2001 and since then has been a three veterinarian practice as it is now, offering high quality medicine and surgery services. RecommendedWe LOVE Black Forest Vet Clinic! From the sweet ladies at the front desk, to the techs, to the vets themselves. Dr. Holcombe always takes all of my concerns seriously no matter how small they are. They know my pembroke is a drama queen, and they take such good care of him even though he makes a fuss. When we brought home our second dog, they welcomed him with open arms just like they did with our first. Needless to say, my dogs (and I) have nothing to be worried about when going to the vet!

We showed up at 5 PM the day before Christmas Eve desperate not to take our dog to Powers emergency (where he was given unnecessary surgery when he was one year old). We were not returning patients, but they saw us anyway. Our dog had a cut on his leg from playing on our 9 acres. They fixed him up and made our Christmas. Thank you Black Forest Vet Clinic!!!!!
