Probably not much more you could have done, but the mortgage experience as a whole today stinks. This also was a simple refinance and we have exceptionally high credit ratings and felt like why the heck did I ever do this over about 1/2 a point or so. I felt like we had to jump through hoops at every turn. We were also given maybe 1 hour to re-open our credit reports for a 2nd Time less than 24 hours before closing, couldn't do it fast enough and had to delay the closing until we could.
