We tried Boca for the first time last Sunday night. We loved it!! The waitstaff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was very cool - industrial chic, and the food was delicious! We ordered the tuna crisps as an appetizer and then the shrimp and grits and flank steak as our main course. Everything was outstanding and just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we had the blueberry cobbler for dessert! Yum!! We will definitely return when we are back in Sarasota!
We can’t stop raving about our meal at Boca! We tried the Staff Meal (it changes every night), and the night we were in it was squid ink fettuccine carbonara. It was out of this world! One of the best meals we’ve ever had. Service was also fantastic. Indoor dining was very noisy. Overall, a fantastic experience.
The margaritas are great and we loved the Brie and apple flatbread.
Excellent food, great variety, and excellent service. Be sure to ask for the chef’s special of the day, for me it was a great choice.
Disappointed in the food - lack of seasoning and very odd vegetable medley. Our server was lovely and the ambiance is quite nice. Hopefully just an off night food-wise

We were at Boca midafternoon, having a 2:45 reservation. Perhaps that explains the slow and way less than attentive service. After ten minutes, we were asked what we wanted to drink….another while, drinks arrived. What seemed like another long time, our waitress came over and we placed our order for an appetizer and lunch. The ambience of downtown Sarasota outdoor dining was delightful, especially the weather. Our food was delicious and at the appropriate temperature. Our server was responsive and courteous.
