We had booked an outdoor table on Open Table but when we arrived they told us there were no outdoor tables. We sat inside as that was all that there was and the music was quite loud and we asked for it to be turned down; our server said "they" wouldn't do it. Our server was most inattentive and ignored us for long periods of time. All of our food was excellent and the three of the portions were very generous but my husband's omelet was miniscule and didn't even come with toast. There were no paper towels in the bathroom.
First I want to start off by saying our server was awesome. I believe her name way Daly S. I’m not sure if management keeps changing but the food is really on and off. Our appetizers were fine, but my husbands burger was not as good as it use to be and my flatbread was very greasy. We tried the dessert special. Strawberry cobbler, I wanted it to be great but the top was burnt and it had a little burnt taste to it.
I have a lot of allergies and the chef was super accommodating.
Perhaps the BEST time out ever for us in Sarasota. Everything was fantastic and especially our server, Cal! Her friendliness made our visit complete. Our reservation was to celebrate our son's birthday. Cal ensured our son received the doughnut holes with a candle on top. This of course made for a GREAT TIME for our whole party---but especially for Trent! Thank you again for such terrific food, Cal and a great atmosphere. It will be a day that we will always remember!!! Looking forward to visiting again soon, Ken and Susan

This restaurant is a gem. Casual yet great food and drinks. Service was very good. Smoked dip was superb and tuna poke bowl was excellent.

The fried Calamari was mostly small pieces but tasty!The waiter tried but seemed like he just started .3 of us had the shrimp w/ grits which I have had before.Always delicious but a little light on the grits and the shrimps were MUCH smaller than I remembered..Bread is essential for this dish and it came 15 minutes after the shrimp/grits.The cobbler dessert was delicious but the waiter told us it would be strawberry and it turned out to be blackberry.Overall a shaky experience although in the past always a better experience.... read more
