Very loud restaurant for a date night. Food was very good, as was the service. Cocktail glasses smelled weird.
Th food was fantastic! The noise level was pretty high and clattery! We will probably return.
Fresh and always delicious!!! Love sitting outside and enjoying the great people watching. Enjoyed their Charcuterie and tuna wontons, and of course some great drinks.
We had a great 1st experience at Boca. We were glad we made reservations as they were quite busy. Great ambience and a vibe with lots of conversations and laughter but you could still focus on your conversation. We had very tasty martinis which were perfectly made. Our appetizer of choice were the fried green tomatoes and they were very good, lightly fried and the pimento cheese was a great touch. My wife and I both got flat breads and enjoyed them. Very good food and service. We were disappointed though that we had to wait for a table for approx 30 minutes, even though we had a reservation. Also, we had to stand waiting at the front door, as the bar was full. Perhaps a two hour limit on tables would allow for better planning.
Beautiful “industrial” decor is well done. Lots of open areas with a balcony view of the entire restaurant. Bar is designed to appear to be floating from the upper level. The menu is varied with lots options in every category of food. Brussels sprouts are roasted perfectly and the fried green tomatoes are easily shared plates. The chef’s dish Ono is exceptional - same for the poke bowl of seared tuna. Our server, Devin, is a wealth of information, accommodating, friendly and efficient. All around a great dining experience.
Services was very slow from kitchen and bar. This is not our first experience with slow services at Boca.
It was my first time there and the hostess was so pleasant, my waiter was quick to get me water and kept checking back to see if we needed anything. I will definitely go back!!!
This was our third time and it has not disappointed. The food is always delicious and the service is always spot on. Our server Ashley even got me a little hook for the table to hang my handbag! The food there is very approachable but elevated and incredibly flavorful and delicious! There is something for everyone on the menu so take your friends. We will definitely be back the next time that we are in Sarasota.
