Found a hidden gem for pre-theatre dining. Food was outstanding
We were disappointed that dinner was not included in restaurant week. However, great service. Pizza was very good, not fabulous. We enjoyed the lasagna- very nicely prepared and presented- and the meatball was great. We didn’t order dessert, but restaurant knew we were celebrating a birthday. Sent complimentary dessert and candle and singing waiters. So nice!!
Truly, a wonderful night of dining! I would highly recommend to anyone after a wonderful Broadway show!
Once reseated downstairs where the noise level was so much better, we all had a great and delicious dinner and drinks! Loved the artichoke appetizer, fish entrees, and truffle ravioli! Everything was so fresh! We will return next time in NYC!
We went to NYC for a play and stopped in for a drink; the best Bartender, with a great sense of humor! We had a reservation for dinner and were able to be seated early. We sat upstairs. The service was excellent. The Waiter was attentive and patient and made great recommendations. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all delicious. Great Meal!
It was our anniversary. We noted that on our reservation through Open Table. We asked for a quiet table if possible. We were greeted with "oh it's your anniversary! He was married for 31/2 months once" pointing to another employee. Not the greatest greeting for a special celebration. Our server was taciturn, did not mention the special occasion and in fact barely spoke the entire evening. Food was above average, but the staff ambiance made us wish we had celebrated our special evening elsewhere
As always, the food was superb! We enjoyed everything we ordered, including the Caprese salad, meatball pizza, antipasto bar, and goat cheese bruschetta! We could take our time and didn't feel rushed as we lingered and grazed before our matinee!
Great pre-show meal. Chicken parm was huge to share. Octopus with hummus was spot on.
We were disappointed that nothing was sent to our table for a birthday party, which was confirmed by the host when we checked in at the restaurant. He specifically asked us if we were celebrating a birthday today.
