Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

Reliable pre-theatre dinner w/consistently good wine selection and food, waiters accommodating to theatre curtain times. I had my heart set on the grilled eggplant from the antipasto bar, though, and it wasn’t offered that evening!
We went ore-theater and it was a good choice. The food was delicious, service was quick and efficient, and we were Rodger across from the theater. It is a good pre-theater option.
Guests felt their food was not hot. Usually I have not had a problem.
Food was excellent, service was a little slow. But overall was a good experience.

This was our second time at Bond 45 and it won't be our last. We had the pizza as an appetizer. The thin crust is delicious and split among 6 people is was a perfect starter. The fried octopus was a bit of a disappointment as the octopus was chewy. Our meals were delicious. The dover petit filet was light and perfectly cooked. The veal milanese was a bit dry but flavorful. Other party members enjoyed their meals as well. Overall, we had a nice meal at Bond 45 and will be returning in the near future.
This is part of the Fireman group that owns on of my favorite restaurants, trattoria dell'arte. This one is a step below. The food is well prepared and most dishes quite tasty but I must say I was disappointed with my Cacio e Pepe tonight. First, kudos for even having it on the menu. You don't often see this difficult to make Roman classic on American restaurant menus. But the serving could not have been more than a half plate. For $24? Really? Food was good and service was great. Pre-theater crowd was loud but that’s not unexpected.
Food is delicious, portions are small and it is expensive for what it is. It is located close to Time Square which makes it a bit touristy
