Perfect pretheater dinner and always delivers great food and timely service
Four of us enjoyed a delicious brunch this past Sunday. 2 had breakfast food, 2 had lunch. Our attentive waiter was exceptional. My poached eggs were originally too well done, he quickly had them replaced (by my ideal for a poached egg) going out of his way to make our meal as positive a dining experience as possible.
The food and table service was good. However the Maitre'd spoiled the evening. We arrived early for our reservation and was offered immediate seating. We accepted. We were taken to a small table in the middle of the room. We asked the young lady to seat us on either side (70% vacant at the time). She went to the Maitre'd who said that all those tables were reserved for parties of 4. Delicious meal, excellent service, wonderful ambience. I highly recommend. Ask to be seated downstairs - it's quieter in this section.
Only had 45 minutes for a pre theater dinner. Our server, Trevor, was teriffic and gave good recomendations and made sure that the food came out promptly. We had the Dover Sole (petite portion) and the fettucini bolognaise both of wich were very good. The Super Tuscan red wine by the glass was also good and not overpriced.
Made a reservation. Wait staff was attentive to our needs. Wanted to know if we were in a rush to see a broadway show. They would let the kitchen staff know. We ordered dinner on the menu, but later learned that they had run out of the dish. The staff went above and beyond to compensate for the change. We appreciated it. The food was delish and atmosphere was great. Fantastic place for large groups. We will be recommending to others and we will be returning!
