The food was quite good but the portions were a bit on the small side.
Server was not well educated on drink orders, and instead of saying he would ask the bartender, he just said, “I don’t know what that is.” Wasn’t very attentive. Went back in the morning for breakfast and waiter was great.
Our first visit. We arrived a bit early and was a smaller party than our reservation but they accommodated us with no issue. Waitress service (unfortunately, I cannot recall her name) was excellent. The Prosciutto di Parma, burrata mozzarella & figs salad was very good. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Seared Scallops and I would highly recommend the Lasagna. Our only disappointment was the Tiramisu which was ordinary at best. Would definitely repeat.
We had a pre-theatre dinner and it was wonderful! My husband had the veal parm and it was probably the best he's ever had [next time I'll get that and we can both split it--large portion]. I had the crab cake with shrimp and it was absolutely delicious. The plate presented beautifully as well. Our waiter was friendly and helpful as was the hostess and bartender[s]. We went for an after theatre drink at Bond 45 twice during our stay in NYC. We will definitely go back to Bond 45 the next time we are in NYC!
Outstanding in every respect.
My friend and I ate here between Part 1 and 2 of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Overall Bond 45 is not a bad place to eat in Times Square. As expected, the food was over-priced for quality, but service was good. The
Lovely restaurant, great service and very convenient pre theatre.
Servie very warm and polite, food was excellent. The only thing I would say is that the wait staff could have come over a little sooner- we sat for a while before we had anyone come over to is, at it wasn’t a busy time-4pm. They accommodated us as we were there an hour earlier than our resos. Food was delicious.
The reason to choose Bond 45 is its proximity to a theater you plan to attend. The extensive menu provides lots of options for lunch. We shared the 2 course price fixed lunch and had plenty of good food for $33.
