Tables are very close and it's very noisy, but it IS NYC.
Only drawback was feeling of being hurried out by the staff.
The location was perfect for attending the theatre afterwards. We arrived earlier than our reservation and were accommodated very graciously. Our server, Eduardo, was attentive and helpful. I tried the Chicken Parmesan and, though prepared differently than any I'd ever had, it was delicious. It could have served two people, easily. My friends were delighted with the large dinner salads they ordered. The bartender was able to come up with a special drink, not offered on the menu, and the New York Cheesecake was delicious.
Excellent for pre-theatre dining. Food was very good and service ensured that meal was served promptly to allow us to comfortably get to show.
Great for pre-post theatre, can accommodate larger groups
I made a reservation through open table after reading reviews and asked for a table downstairs. We were seated promptly and they had our table downstairs ready. The service was friendly and efficient as they knew we had a show to get to. The food was wonderful. Best lasagna I’ve ever eaten. Good portion sizes and chocolate mousse was incredible. Will definitely be back.
Food was good—not the best ever, but competent; arrived at 8 to miss theater crowd, which is a wise choice. Great service; very attentive but not intrusive. The music SUCKED, but we had fun making fun of it. Michael Bouble doing Van Morrison’s “Moondance” signals they’re after tourist $$. If I were in theater district it wouldn’t be my first choice but I’d have no trouble going back.
Waiter pushed us to order on numerous occasions. We orders Apps first and then ordered dinner about 10-15 later. Apps came out and 5 minutes after that our dinners were on teh table. I got the feeling they wanted my table. Felt very RUSHED the entire evening. I get that many people go here before shows and that some people probably appreciate that when they need to gte to the show. However, I did not have a show to go too. Let me be the one to tell you if i'm in a hurry.
Food was delicious and the service outstanding. These people know how to handle pre-theater needs better than most. I will be back!
